The Bio

In the year 1986, a man was born. He was not even a minute old, yet he was a man. His name was Andrew, born under normal circumstances in the great state of Rhode Island unto normal parents. He lived the first eighteen years of his life in Warwick, where he experienced the amazing events that would forever affect how he would choose to live his life. From getting picked on by the scum of society to failing miserably at Little League Baseball, it is a wonder how Andrew survived his childhood, but survive he did.

Upon his arrival in high school, Andrew's life changed forever when he met an enthusiastic GYM teacher who thought Andrew had potential as a runner. He soon convinced him to join the track and cross country teams, and four years later, after running hundreds upon hundreds of races, Andrew held a school record in the 4x800 meter relay. The record remains unbroken to this day, however, the other members of that relay team have failed to succeed in life as Andrew has. One of them attends the Naval Academy, while the other two are accomplished mathematicians. For Andrew, there was only one thing he could do in college: study to become a GYM teacher.

After attending the University of Rhode Island for a year, it turned out that this dream had failed Andrew. I mean, who wants to spend four years studying Science to become a GYM teacher? Certainly not Andrew, and that is why he sits here today as a recent graduate of the Film Studies program at Rhode Island College.

While attending Rhode Island College, Andrew latched onto the greatness of another teacher, this time a Film professor who helped him complete a 40 page Honors Thesis. He also was Secretary (AKA Doer-of-nothing) of The Ocean State Film Society where he proved his superiority in the game Scene-It. Following his graduation in May 0f 2009, he began a long string of unemployment.

Andrew is a life-long sports fan and supports the Miami Dolphins (NFL), the Boston Red Sox (MLB), and both the Florida Gators college football team as well as their basketball team. His real obsession however, is with movies.

Boogie Nights (Paul Thomas Anderson, 1997) is Andrew's favorite film. Paul Thomas Anderson is his favorite filmmaker, and Andrew firmly believes that even though P.T. has only made five feature films that it is a crime he has yet to win an Academy Award. Andrew is also a television addict, Lost being his favorite show, followed by The Office (U.S.).

Even at the age of 22 years old, Andrew still sadly enjoys reading comic books, fulfilling his superhero fantasies by reading stories about The Amazing Spider-man and Batman

Someday Andrew will have a fulfilling job, driving a truck late at night on the highway or tearing ticket stubs at the local Cineplex, but until this time you must respect the man known as Andrew. Yes, he is still a man, yet to achieve Morgan Freeman-like status. And by that, I mean God-like status.

We all have dreams, don't we?
